Via current Saitama JET Denise Schlickbernd, an NGO called GoLongitude is organizing a volunteer trip to India to help build houses in a Dalit village. The Dalit people (formerly called "Untouchables") are considered the lowest caste in Indian society, and many cannot live in safe housing.
