Steering

The Steering Committee leads the directions of the <strong>Career, Community, and Service</strong> sub-committees. We also serve as the face of JETAA Tokyo when communicating with currents JETs, JETAA International, AJET and other organizations. Our committee meets once a month to share updates from the subcommittees and discuss upcoming events and activities. We welcome all members who are interested in hearing about what we are doing or have new ideas with which JETAA Tokyo can offer even better service to the JET Community in the Tokyo area.

JETAA Tokyo Joins JET's 25th Anniversary Celebration

Over 10 JETAA Tokyo members joined CLAIR members, Japanese ministers and foreign dignitaries to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the JET Programme.  The reception, sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and held at the Iikura Guesthouse, wrapped up a half-day Symposium http://www.mofa.go.jp/announce/event/2011/8/0816_01.html commemorating the inception of JET on September 8th.

2011 JETAA Tokyo Annual Welcome Party

JETAA Tokyo is having our second annual Welcome Party for new members on September 29th. Once again, the party will be held at Roppongi Nouen, a chic agricultural restaurant run by farmers for farmers. For the foodies out there, this is a great chance to get some great food straight from the source. And if we're lucky, you may even get to meet the farmer(s) that will be supplying our meal for the night!

It is that time once again! JETAA Tokyo will be holding it's August Steering Committee on Wed., August 10th from 20:00-21:00 at the Sogo Hanzomon Buidling followed by networking and drinks at a nearby bar-restaurant.
